Here at Hallmark, Allie S. brings a sweet and stylish look to greeting cards and lettering, and at home she brings that same flair to celebrations with family and friends. In honor of Independence Day, Allie whipped up some cute patriotic printables, and so can you!
What I love most about entertaining—especially holiday entertaining—is the chance to do something a little over-the-top with the decorations. So today I’m sharing some printables I created to help you put your Fourth of July table over the top, too.
I’ve included templates for a cake topper, decorative banner, sandwich (or cupcake) flags, and place cards/food labels. The only other supplies you’ll need are scissors, baker’s twine, tape, toothpicks and two wooden skewers.
After you print out all the elements, just cut and fold. For the banner and cake topper, place the folded pieces over the twine and attach with tape. (Double sided works best.) For the little flags, just wrap the folded paper around a toothpick and trim into a flag shape. Feel free to get creative: use the pieces in your own combinations, or even for other purposes!
The last step is to write on the place cards/food labels and then decorate the table!
Take advantage of your own Fourth of July traditions, and use the flags and labels in a way that makes sense for your celebration. My family always makes a red, white, and blue three-layer cake that’s perfect for the cake topper banner!
