How to make Smiley Face Treat Boxes

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Supplies for Smiley Face Treat Boxes: Spray paint, orange and whiteHallmark tissue paper, treats, smiley face template, round craft paper treat boxes, Just Because mini card, navy blue acrylic paint and brush.

Start by spray-painting all the treat boxes in your birthday party color palette. (Painting with a brush works too, but isn’t quite as speedy.)

Spray paint cans, smiley face template, and open treat box.

Print the smiley face template onto card stock, and cut it out with a craft knife.

Painting faces on blue, yellow and pink treat boxes.

Hold the template on the box lids (or lightly tape it on with painter’s tape), and fill in the eyes and mouth with acrylic paint. Once you remove the template, you can use a finer brush to smooth out the lines, if that’s who you are.

Once it’s all dry, drop in a piece of tissue paper (you might need to cut it down) and fill the Smiley Face Treat Box with goodies.

Finish it all off by writing quick notes in your Just Because mini cards to let your guests know how much they mean to you.
