As long as kiddos’ artwork, schedules, photos, take-out menus, notes from school, and all kinds of lists exist, moms will need magnets. And they might as well be adorable. Hallmark Designer Ashley H. got all inspired by the new Studio Ink Mother’s Day card collection, so she got out her craft supplies and made magnets for mom that kinda match. They’re smart and funny, just like your mom friends—and they’re perfect for tucking into a card—or keeping for your own fridge or filing cabinet.
See? You need them. Your friends need them. Your mom needs them. Here’s how to make them (hint: it’s beyond easy)…

Magnets with adhesive backs (get some at craft store or online here)
HOW TO MAKE MAGNETS FOR MOM
Print and cut out all the squares with quotes on them.
Using the foam brush, paint one side of an acrylic square with Mod Podge.
Stick a quote—design side down—on the acrylic square.
Smooth the paper with your finger to press out any air bubbles. Wipe any Mod Podge off the acrylic (or your fingers).
Peel the backing off the magnet and press it in place on the back of the magnet, right in the middle.
Let the magnet dry. Done!
With 12 quotes to choose from, you can share with all your sweet mama friends looking for a laugh. (Don’t forget to grab cards to go with them.) Or completely re-magnet your refrigerator. (Hey, you’re the mom—it’s your call.) And if you really love those card designs, they’re also available for this month’s free digital wallpapers!
Show us what you did, or where you stuck the magnets. We’re happy to hear from you either way! Share photos and tag us on Instagram @think.make.share or on Facebook.

What did you print the quotes on? Cardstock? Photo paper? Regular paper? What thickness are your acrylic squares?
Hi, Karen! You can print the quotes on card stock or regular printer paper. Not sure about the acrylic squares: This post was a while back and we don’t still have them around. I’d guess about 1/8″ thick.
