We all love sending our kiddos off to school with just a little extra love. Or a few encouraging words. Or sometimes just the goofiest joke we can find. That’s why we’ve put together these free printable lunch box notes: a dozen cute drawings with messages from sweet to silly.

How to make your lunch box notes

Easy: Just print these designs out, and cut them out.

We suggest printing a few pages and keeping a little stack on hand.

And maybe there’s not time to cover a lunch bag with doodles EVERY day, but it’s kinda fun for special days. Like the first day of school, or test day, or Monday. (Do kids feel the same way about Mondays?) We rounded up some fun ideas from Hallmark artists here.

HINT: You don’t have to send one of these little notes in a lunch box. Or bag. You can stick one in a backpack, or tuck it in a pocket, or slip it in a book.
