Attention, children of Melissa Powlas: Your mom is making Mother’s Day very easy for you by telling you exactly how to make her gift below! You’re lucky to have the oh-so-creative Melissa as your mother, and we’re lucky to work (and craft) alongside her.
Even as an adult, it’s fun to give your mom a handmade gift to celebrate her on Mother’s Day. These cute tea towels are fun and easy to make. We used simple stamps made from rubber blocks, acrylic paints and sponge brushes to create these one-of-a-kind towels.

- Start by testing your stamp out on some paper or scrap fabric.
- Lay the tea towel on a flat surface with paper or drop cloth underneath to protect your work surface, then stamp away.
- The paints will dry within an hour.
- Let the tea towel sit for 2 to 4 days before washing.
You can bundle several towels together or wrap them around a special gift to present to your mom on her special day.
