Baby gift wrap ideas: Showered with love

Let’s be real: When we give baby shower gifts, we’re all going for the “aaaaaaaaw.” We gave Hallmark Photographer and Stylist Erin M. a challenge: Make it cute before the present is even opened. (This is especially handy for those experienced moms who give the super practical stuff, like diaper pails, onesies and nipple cream.) She started with some basic craft supplies and Hallmark’s new gift wrap collection. Below, her baby gift wrap ideas with bonus adorable.

Supplies for covering a gift with sheep: glue, pom-poms, gift, ribbon, black marker. Welcome to the flock, little one

Erin wrapped the box in gray paper and went once around with two kinds of ribbon: white grosgrain with a “welcome little one” message and textured orange cotton. Then she glued on teeny pom-poms to make tiny sheep, and added heads and legs with a black marker. We cannot even with this one, you guys.

If the color palette fits, flaunt it. The gorgeous pearly gray gingham paper and yellow cotton ribbon would be lovely on their own. But turn a wood rattle into a topper, and it just screams baby. (Maybe we shouldn’t use “scream” and “baby” in the same sentence. Our bad.)

Wrapped up in something dreamy

You know we love our garlands. And we just adore this plus-up to the simple polka-dotted craft paper wrap. The felt baby tag is a fresh and tactile finishing touch to the combo of craft paper and embroidered canvas clouds.

Here’s an extra snuggle

Easiest gift-and-wrap-in-one idea ever: Tie it up in a blanket (or crib sheets or burp rags) and add a tag to match. In this case, it’s a softer-than-soft stroller blanket with a mommy and baby elephant.

Hang in there, baby

This onesie came with a cuddly stuffed lamb. A little bit of ribbon and a simple bow around the neck, and now it’s a gift bag attachment. Shown with super-cute pom-pom and polka dot gift bag and apricot tissue paper, but it would work with any gift bag/tissue/ribbon/adorable stuffed plush combo.
